Summary
A flaw in Node.js HTTP/2 handling allows `nghttp2_session_mem_send()` to be called re-entrantly while `nghttp2_session_mem_recv()` is executing, resulting in a heap-use-after-free. This vulnerability affects Node.js versions 22.x prior to 22.23.2, 24.x prior to 24.18.1 and 26.x prior to 26.5.1.

CWE-416 - Use After Free
Use-after-free (UaF) vulnerability occurs when the application is using a pointer to memory that has been freed. Any attempt to read/write to a buffer after it is de-allocated allows memory corruption, sensitive information exposure, and can potentially lead to arbitrary code execution.
