Summary
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal'), Files or Directories Accessible to External Parties vulnerability in Apache Doris. Application administrators can read arbitrary files from the server filesystem through path traversal. The vulnerability affects Doris versions 2.1.x prior to 2.1.8-rc01 and 3.0.x prior to 3.0.3-rc01.

Path traversal (or directory traversal), is a vulnerability that allows malicious users to traverse the server's root directory, gaining access to arbitrary files and folders such as application code & data, back-end credentials, and sensitive operating system files.
