Summary

Apache NiFi versions 1.10.0 through 1.27.0, and 2.0.0-M1 through 2.0.0-M3 are affected by a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the "description" field of parameters in a Parameter Context configuration. An authenticated user with permission to configure a Parameter Context can input arbitrary JavaScript code, which the client browser will execute in the authenticated user's session context.
