Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: prevent possible UAF in ip6_xmit() If skb_expand_head() returns NULL, skb has been freed and the associated dst/idev could also have been freed. We must use rcu_read_lock() to prevent a possible UAF.

CWE-416 - Use After Free
Use-after-free (UaF) vulnerability occurs when the application is using a pointer to memory that has been freed. Any attempt to read/write to a buffer after it is de-allocated allows memory corruption, sensitive information exposure, and can potentially lead to arbitrary code execution.
