Summary
In the elliptic package, "ECDSA" signature malleability occurs because "BER-encoded" signatures are allowed which leads to Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature vulnerability. This affects version 5.2.1 through 6.5.6. This has the same fix as CVE-2024-424610.
