Summary
Vulnerability in the MySQL Server product of Oracle MySQL (component: Server: Components Services). It's difficult to exploit the vulnerability which allows highly privileged attackers with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of MySQL Server. This issue affects the mysql-server package versions through 8.4.2, and 9.0.0-release through 9.0.1-labs-mrs8-preview-release.
