Summary
Vulnerability in the Oracle VM VirtualBox product of Oracle Virtualization (component: Core). The supported versions that are affected are prior to 6.1.44, and 7.0.x prior to 7.0.8. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attackers with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle VM VirtualBox executes to compromise Oracle VM VirtualBox. While the vulnerability is in Oracle VM VirtualBox, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in a takeover of Oracle VM VirtualBox.

CWE-416 - Use After Free
Use-after-free (UaF) vulnerability occurs when the application is using a pointer to memory that has been freed. Any attempt to read/write to a buffer after it is de-allocated allows memory corruption, sensitive information exposure, and can potentially lead to arbitrary code execution.
