Summary

Certain WSO2 products allow unrestricted file upload with resultant remote code execution. The attacker must use a "/fileupload" endpoint with a "Content-Disposition" directory traversal sequence to reach a directory under the web root, such as a "../../../../repository/deployment/server/webapps" directory. This affects identity-carbon-auth-rest before 1.4.50 (1.4.52 vulnerable), org.wso2.carbon.identity.auth.service before 1.4.50 (1.4.52 vulnerable), identity-framework before 5.20.283, org.wso2.carbon.core.services before 4.6.3-m6 and 4.7.0-x before 4.7.0-m9.
