Use After Free
A vulnerability has been identified in JT Utilities (All versions < V184.108.40.206), JTTK (All versions < V220.127.116.11). JTTK library in affected products contains a use-after-free vulnerability that could be triggered while parsing specially crafted JT files. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. (ZDI-CAN-14911)
CWE-416 - Use After Free
Use-after-free (UaF) vulnerability occurs when the application is using a pointer to memory that has been freed. Any attempt to read/write to a buffer after it is de-allocated allows memory corruption, sensitive information exposure, and can potentially lead to arbitrary code execution.
