Summary
An Open Redirect vulnerability for all browsers in Jupyter Notebook and some browsers (Chrome, Firefox) in JupyterHub allows crafted links to the login page, which will redirect to a malicious site after successful login. Servers running on a base_url prefix are not affected.

An open redirect attack employs a URL parameter, HTML refresh tags, or a DOM based location change to exploit the trust of a vulnerable domain to direct the users to a malicious website.
