Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor
When a cluster is operating in secure mode, a user with read privileges for specific data regions can use the gfsh command line utility to execute queries. In Apache Geode up to 1.2.0, the query results may contain data from another user's concurrently executing gfsh query, potentially revealing data that the user is not authorized to view.

An information exposure vulnerability is categorized as an information flow (IF) weakness, which can potentially allow unauthorized access to otherwise classified information in the application, such as confidential personal information (demographics, financials, health records, etc.), business secrets, and the application's internal environment.
