The UAA /oauth/token endpoint in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) before 243; UAA 2.x before 126.96.36.199, 3.x before 188.8.131.52, and 3.4.x before 3.4.5 and 3.5.0 through 3.7.0; UAA BOSH before 11.7 and 12.x before 12.6; Elastic Runtime before 1.6.40, 1.7.x before 1.7.21, and 1.8.x before 1.8.2; and Ops Manager 1.7.x before 1.7.13 and 1.8.x before 1.8.1 allows remote authenticated users to gain privileges by leveraging possession of a token.
CWE-264 - Permissions Privileges and Access Controls
CWE 264 (permissions, privileges, and access controls) is not a weakness in and of itself, rather it is a category of weaknesses related to the management of permissions, privileges, and other security features used to perform access control. If not addressed, the weaknesses in this category allow attackers to gain privileges for an unintended sphere of control, access sensitive information, and execute arbitrary commands.
