URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect')
CVE-2026-3872
Summary
A flaw was found in Keycloak Services prior to 26.5.7. This issue allows an attacker, who controls another path on the same web server, to bypass the allowed path in redirect Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs) that use a wildcard. A successful attack may lead to the theft of an access token, resulting in information disclosure.

An open redirect attack employs a URL parameter, HTML refresh tags, or a DOM based location change to exploit the trust of a vulnerable domain to direct the users to a malicious website.
