Summary
A vulnerability was found in the Undertow HTTP server in versions through 2.0.28.SP1-redhat-00001, version 2.0.28.Final-redhat-00001, and version 2.0.28.Final, when listening on HTTPS. An attacker can target the HTTPS port to carry out a Denial Of Service (DOS) to make the service unavailable on SSL.

An uncontrolled resource allocation attack (also known as resource exhaustion attack) triggers unauthorized overconsumption of the limited resources in an application, such as memory, file system storage, database connection pool entries, and CPU. This may lead to denial of service for valid users and degradation of the application's functionality as well as that of the host operating system.
